Dill Pickles

 

1 grape leaf

1 bud garlic

1 teaspoon dill seed

1 hot pepper

Cucumbers

1 cup salt

1 quart vinegar

3 quarts water

 

Place grape leaf, garlic, dill seed, hot pepper and cucumbers in a quart jar.

 

Heat to a boil salt, vinegar, water.  Pour into jars and seal.  Put jars in sunshine for 9 days.
